Tiger and Bird have personally taken all the photos on this site - unless otherwise indicated - in various locales around Thailand and occasionally on our other travels. We generally try to avoid the touristy locations frequented by tourists to get a better impression of how the local people actually live. Michelin Star restaurants? Pshh. Show me a place where the average worker will eat! That is where life is found. That is where life is real.

When Tiger first started this blog in 2010, he decided to stick with compact cameras for some time. Yes, yes, there is nothing that can substitute for a professional camera taking a professional photo! But I am not a professional. However, more recently, I have grown quite partial to my Canon Powershot G7 X Mark II (located towards the high-and-physically-larger end of Canon's compact camera line) and I daresay it can in some circumstances hold its own against SLRs.

In an attempt to keep this area less cluttered and more enjoyable, photos are placed in a "responsive" grid format for ease of viewing. Please, enjoy! Most photos in the grid are found in posts on this blog.
